Slimline Sliding Window - 261 System
The Lidco plant-on Slimline Sliding Window allows for easy installation of retro-fitted secondary glazing next to existing windows. It is an economical solution that provides improved acoustic and thermal performance due to improved sealing. Large panel sizes, with sash weights up to 30kg are possible with this system.
The Slimline Sliding Window can be fitted in the reveal of an existing window to create an air space between new and existing panels. The improved sealing characteristics of this system, combined with a range of glass thicknesses up to 6.38mm single glazed and 14mm double glazed, provide excellent acoustic and thermal performance when used as secondary glazing. The woolpiles used ensure high sealing efficiency.
Where double glazing is used in the Slimline Sliding Window the performance of the combined new and existing window is comparable to that of a triple glazed system.
